“The Warped Ordinary” Proposal/Final Draft -25th April

Over the course of the past few weeks, I have been working on my proposal and coming up with a plan, according to my FMP. I have had a few discussions with Sally about how it’s going, and I have reached the stage, of it being completed.

As you can see, I have attached an image of the document below, and I feel satisfied with my final draft.

First Draft of Proposal-21st March

I recently spoke to Sally about my proposal, and we went through and made some corrections, which needed to be made. Overall, I am pleased with how my Proposal is going and I think it is important to make sure that the proposal is refined and concise. I plan to spend more time on my second draft, and then I will discuss my proposal further with Sally, so that I can be efficient with completing it and focusing on my work, as part of FMP.

Pinterest Board-27th February

I have recently been working on my proposal for FMP, and I feel that before I complete it, that I need to research artists, who also explore the idea of distortion. As I mentioned in my pitch, I wanted to move away from the idea of solely studying faces and therefore I am moving onto everyday objects. I have attached a link to the Pinterest Board, which I have made as a stimulus for artist research.

Pitch Written Feedback-23rd February

As you can see above, I have received some positive feedback back after carrying out my pitches. It was said that I was well prepared, and had already been experimenting and developing ideas, which I am pleased about as I made sure to have some work done before I cam into the pitch, so that I could be sure about my initial idea.

Sally and Daniel also said that I was open to suggestion and enjoys freedom of experimentation, which are both true. Overall, I am really happy with how my new project is coming into shape, and I was given some useful advice by my teachers, with how I can develop my work.

After carrying out my pitch, I was given some advice for writing up my proposal and told to make sure that I keep all of my ideas open. I was pleased with the feedback, which I received and feel fairly encouraged to go on and develop my project.
