London Visit-4th March

I recently visited London, so that I could gain some valuable reference and materials as part of my FMP.I visited the Tate Modern, where I saw the piece below called Babel, which was a sort of breaking point for me with where I was going with my FMP. By using a longer shutter speed, I managed to get some really interesting images of the piece, with the light from the Radios, appearing to be warped and manipulated. I personally felt really inspired, when I took the images, and I am going to create some abstract paintings from, using the photos as reference.

I like how this image is out of focus, as I feel that it adds interest to the picture and might force the onlooker give it a second look.

I also viewed some other well -known pieces at The Royal National, which I thought were really interesting and was in awe at the beautiful oil paintings, which appeared to be so vivid and colourful despite their old-age, as pictured below.
